Any person in the UK describing themself as any kind of chiropractor must register with the GCC within the two year transitional period following the opening of this statutory register. After 14th June 2001 the title of chiropractor will be protected and it will be a criminal offence, liable to prosecution, to describe oneself as a chiropractor without being registered.
